What is a Dengue NS1-ELISA?

NS1 is a non-structural protein the dengue virus produces during replication and sheds into the bloodstream in large quantity from the very first day of fever. Seek medical care immediately, without waiting for a report, for severe abdominal pain, persistent vomiting, bleeding from gums or nose, black stools, breathlessness, restlessness, or a sudden temperature drop with cold clammy skin.
